A decent performance if not result away to Irvine Meadow at KG5.

Bellfield got off to a great start when Sammy drove into the box and scored in the 2nd minute.
Meadow equalised 5 minutes later however a well worked corner and near post finish from Taylor put Bellfield into a well desereved 2-1 lead.

The boys were looking good at this stage taking the game to Meadow and were unlucky not to extend their lead however the home team equalised with deflected shot and then made it 3-2 taking advantage of an offside decision which went in their favour.

When Meadow scored 2 quick goals after the break it looked as if it was game over however Bellfield scored 2 quick goals themselves with strikes from Craig and Nico to make the score 5-4 and got themselves back into the match.

As Bellfield chased an equaliser Meadow took advantage of some gaps in defence and scored a couple more to make the final score 7-4.

A lot of good performances from the boys who battled hard and were on the wrong end of a couple of bad breaks at crucial times in the match. If we continue with this level of performance the results will come⚽️.
